Having fun, Learning in the Sun

The children have been enjoying the sunshine this week, whilst also having fun learning and exploring. They loved seeing how bright the chalks were when they wet them and they formed a bright paint. They made marks and patterns on the floor using brushes and water, and then watched as the sun dried them up and they disappeared. They discovered that the damp sand was great for tunnelling, and explored capacity filling and emptying containers in the water tray.
